Joanne Summerscales’ educational background is in theatre and media, but was she drawn to research the metaphysical, health and wellness fields via complementary and alternative energy medicine, including psychic surgery in the Philippines. She trained in a system which incorporates regression, and aims to clear patterns and attachments that impede personal progress. This led to an exploration of her own life using meditation and various healing techniques.
Joanne has been a therapist for over 25 years. She taught healing, meditation and stress management workshops, and is qualified in Adult Education. A voluntary role as a Bereavement Counselor frequently brought her into contact with people who had experienced the paranormal in their loss.
Over a five-year period, with two colleagues, she presented complementary therapy conferences and lectures. In early 2011 Joanne founded The A.M.M.A.C.H. Project (Anomalous, Mind Management, Abductee, Contactee Helpline). It was the UK’s only official experiencer resource, and many of their testimonies have been filmed for posterity.
Joanne has hosted conferences and workshops, and she spoke at the Czech Republic’s first Exopolitics conference in Prague in 2012, and she has spoken on many radio shows. After closing The Ammach Project in December 2015 Joanne continues this work under the banner of The ET Newsroom.
ETN publications saw its first book published in 2016, co-authored with experiencer and ex-soldier/musician, Bill Brooks. It is titled 44 and is available on Amazon. She is looking to develop theater/television projects based on the subject.
